Woodpecker comes to life from the union of the typical materials of the mountains: the wood symbolizes the forests and wool represents the pastures.
To this union, Claudia Bernardi’s creative flair is added, embodying the fresh crispy mountain air that rejuvenates and transform. Woodpecker is a project born from the extensive experience in woodworking, passed down from generation to generation. It arises from the creative impulse to innovate, offering something unique and distinctive compared to what is commonly offered in the market.
The design that she sees is a geometric pattern, typical of the Native American populations, such as the Hopi, who reside in Arizona, within the larger Navajo Nation.
They are known as one of the most ancient cultures, which, like antique wood, tell a story, a testimony time passes and relives after each season, transforming what is around. Hopi, in fact, is the name of the first collection that gives the start of a new proposal in the Ampezzo valley.
